Observed: 1-8 December 2000

Segment North of Clapp Road, "This segment appears to start in a wide shallow wet area, then flows under Clapp Road into South Swamp. On the North side there are many (about 20) dead, fallen trees in a small area and a great deal of ivy and myrtle. Metal culvert pipe on N side of Clapp Road needs to be replaced because it is decayed and rotted away."
Segment South of Clapp Road, "This is a stream/wetland segment that is a continuation of the 301-315 Clapp Rd (stream). This portion begins to turn from stream to wetland (South Swamp) about 40' from road, though the right bank is marsh within 10'. Found deer tracks and sleeping areas. Owl feather in tree."
