- The 2002 Outdoor Classroom Project was a great success. Gates Science Teacher Jean Chambers' Environmental Club, in collaboration with the First Herring Brook Watershed Initiative, was awarded an Outdoor Classroom Grant for $2,500 from the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs.
