About FHBWI

A Scituate, Mass. based watershed association and an affiliate of the nonprofit North and South Rivers Watershed Association and the Maxwell Conservation Trust.

The group's meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month in the NOAA Stellwagon Bank Office Meeting Room Annex on Edward Foster Road

FHBWI Nature Walks, Special Topic Lectures, and other activities are designed to be fun and informative for residents of all ages. The FHBWI has contributed important environmental information to the Office of Environmental Affairs, the Department of Environmental Protection, the South Coastal Basin Watershed Initiative, local Conservation Commissions, local Town Boards, and other Administrative Offices.

Director: Lance Van Lenten: Founding Member, Educator, former member of Scituate Bylaw Review Commission, Open Space Committee and Scituate Water Study Committee.
